MIDWEEK FIXTURES

Would all clubs please note that Midweek fixtures will start on Tuesday 24th April. Games will be played on either a Tuesday or Thursday night. Any club which wants to play only on a specific night (Tuesday or Thursday) should contact Tony Glass by March 18th at the latest as after this date the fixtures will be generated and will not be changed should any team be unable to play on a given night, if they have not informed me. Hopefully most teams won't need midweek games, but some teams certainly will. If any teams need any information regarding midweek fixtures, please contact Tony Glass (number & email in handbook).

We are hoping to have the League completed by Sunday 20th May, however a couple of teams may need to finish in the follwoing week.

RINGING IN A MATCH RESULT - PLEASE NOTE NEW CONTACT

All match results & goal scorers must be rung into Rob Wallace by 3.00pm

(Number in the Handbook)

This enables the results to be printed in the Journal on a Monday. Any team who does not comply with this will be fined in accordance with the League rules.

MORPETH SUNDAY LEAGUE FACEBOOK PAGE

The Morpeth Sunday League now has a Facebook page. Just log onto to facebook and search for Morpeth Sunday League, post your match scores/reports & photo's or just have a general chat.

RESULT SHEETS

All completed Result Sheets must be with Alan Parker by the Wednesday after a Sunday game. Any team who does not submit the result sheet on time will be fined in accordance with the League rules.

Could all Secretaries, also please make sure that if a substitute plays he should be marked with an asterisk on the Result Sheet as having played because this is the only check when it comes to counting appearances for eligibility to play in any Cup Final.
